Cornell Food Tech Farm, Geneva, NY
In the early 2000's, CherryPharm became one of the first, and most successful, tenants at the newly construction Ag & Food Technology Farm in Geneva, NY. They developed a health and fitness beverage that contained 50 cherries in one 12 oz. bottle. By 2009, they realized they needed to re-brand their product to appeal to a wider audience. Thus, "Cheribundi" was born!
As part of the rebranding, Chribundi needed a completely new web presence and also needed to delve into the world of social network marketing and blogging. That's when FingerLakes1.com, Inc. became involved in the effort.
The Cheribundi rebranding project was spearheaded by national partners but this was proving to be costly. FingerLakes1.com, Inc. offered a trusted local partner who could deliver the highest quality results in a short-lead time, deadline laden process.
After a handful of strategical and planning meetings we began work. In the two months prior to the product re-launch, we produced several key components of their online initiative. We developed an interactive flash marquee for their homepage that highlights the new brand packaging. We developed, customized, and designed original templates for two Word Press blogs that link from their homepage. One to publish recipes featuring the Cheribundi product, and another for postings about the science behind Cheribundi. Finally, we worked with their staff to create social networking spaces on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube and integrated these into the design of their existing website.
